In November 2012, Flagstaff voters approved a $10M bond to support the Flagstaff Watershed Protection Project (FWPP). With overwhelming community support for the bond measure, and the resulting election outcome, a partnership effort between the State, City and Coconino National Forest began. The goal of FWPP is to help reduce the risk of high severity wildfire and post-fire flooding in the Rio de Flag and Lake Mary watersheds. As the project continues to progress, please contact us at any time for current and up to date information.
